To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Not to discourage you but just wait a few days until the switch is finalized. You can then celebrate for getting free unlimited upgrade. In the current situation, no free unlimited upgrade is finalized yet.T-mobile may just stops the cap on all plans and as t-mobile move to the next stage of finalizing the switch correctly, they may only allow thosed qualified capped plans to get the free unlimited upgrade.
I wish you guys good luck and it would be great if more people can get in the deal. But for now, it's too early to say/celebrate that you already got it.

I remember when they upgraded my plan from 2.5 gb to 4 gb, the account clearly stated that I have data stash and free unlimited video streaming without counting towards my data allotment. After 2 weeks, t-mobile changed the description in the account plan page stating that only those with paid 3GB+ plans can get data stash and free video streaming.
? I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm already upgraded to Unlimited. I've already used 20gb on my 4GB plan and 4.8gb of Hotspot data all at 200mb down speed. I dropped my $20 Unlimited 4/8. 100% reason to celebrate. It's over and done I'm upgraded as well as 9 other people on my family plan.

I took advantage of this deal and initiated the trade in of an iPhone 11 to iPhone 12. The value of the iPhone 11 is $206 as per email received below. Anyone know if I can keep my old phone and forgo the trade in to receive the one time $206 bill credit and still receive the 2 year monthly credit from T-Mobile? My thinking is that I can probably get more money if I sell my iPhone 11 on Swappa.
The promotion is trade in an iPhone 11 to get $830 credit towards an iPhone 12. Just to be clear, are you really asking if you can get the iPhone12 without actually trading in your iPhone 11? Like they'll just give you the iPhone 12 for free???

edit for those in need: They are giving you $830 credit for your iPhone 11. $206 of it is immediate credit and the $624 balance over 24 months.

Costco currently do not have CASH deal for this pro free Galaxy A32 5G.
This is nothing to do with A32 promo. Costco has ongoing $30 cash rebate for EIP or what they call Direct Delivery.

Question for those who went to the store: Did you have to put the SIM of the line you were 'upgrading' in the old phone you were going to trade in? Or did they just take the phone without checking?

Also the difference on that example was T-Mobile never gave you data stash ever on the free data line. It was clearly a misprint. Never did any of my lines ever get data stash even during that brief period of time you're mentioning. The switch on my plan has already been flipped all 10 under usage details already have 5 GB of Hotspot data per line and every single line over the 4 lGB allotment are blazing fast 5G speed. I literally downloaded 20 GB worth of junk just to make sure I was full speed.

Did you have to trade in your old one at the time, or only once you receive the new phone? I'd definitely like to upgrade my poorly performing Moto x4, but all my other phones have died from stuff like bootloops or been traded in. Frown
If you trade in at the store, you will need to give up your old phone at that time.

No need to put a SIM card into the trade-in phone. They're taking old flip phones and phones locked to competitors (e.g. AT&T and Verizon phones). For this promotion, they're not going to really care as the trade-in phone is just a formality. Just make sure it turns on.

No need to put the sim card in, but they do check the phone to see if there's any damages and in working condition.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was able to get the only one they had in store. The person after me as out of luck. And, yes, I handed over my old phone and I walked out with a new A32. They offered to transfer the data in the store, but I had all ready wiped it clean as it was a spare. So, if you are looking for a quick trade - call first and make sure they one have in stock.

For your family plan did you have to buy this deal for ALL lines? Or you bought 1 phone and then all lines have unlimited?

You clearly can not read. Read closely at what I said.
All those things you mentioned don't prove/guarantee that you actually got the free upgrade BECAUSE T-Mobile hasn't finalized it yet and things may change.

I have 4gb data plan and sometime last year I used 20gb+ data and didn't see slow down becsuse there is a delay in counting the data usage. And now t-mobile may just temporarily removed data cap for everyone (to facilitate the switch) and as they finalize the free upgrade, maybe only those qualified ones will actually get the upgrade.

I know you are excited but come on, give it a few days to finalize before making conclusion.
You are NOT upgraded to unlimited yet unless t-mobile finalizes it.

I am not arguing with you but state some facts. We will know the answer in a week or two. Right now, no one can actually say they already officially got the free upgrade yet. Your t-mobile account page has not been updated completely to reflect the change.
Remember, this is Sunday. Do you expect all t-mobile employees/engineers to work hard and finalize the switch in their databases on Sunday?

I can only get two A32's if I only have two lines on my account? I read that there is a 4 device limit per account so I'm a little bit confused.

I am not 100% sure what you are asking, but what I did is bring in a spare phone that was not attached to any line. I jus told them I want to upgrade line XXXX. It did not matter that I did not have the SIM in the phone. He did ask if I wanted to activate the new SIM card that came with the new phone. I told him no, as I was just going to swap it out later.
