To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Got two phones by trading in an old Note 2 and an iPhone 5S. Am assuming the A32 will be locked, so not sure what I'll be doing with these extra new phones lying around.

How do we explain this to stupid?

Keep your current iPhone

What's wrong with that?

Iota went up 1,300% in a year.

$400 x 1,300% = do the math stupid
With this logic, you must be a billionaire because you invested every spare dollar you earned into just the right crypto and stocks that never goes down and has no risk at all, right?

Why would you buy anything at all except essential food items if your internal debate is whether to spend that money on something you want (but don't need) vs investing it? Heck, is food even worth it compared to 1,300%? Should I buy that loaf of bread for $3 or put it into crypto and turn it into >$300?

That logic is about as false as your avatar.

Which phones? A32 may not have that many choices.

But, for iPhone 12 - I got this case - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CS3WH1X/ and this 3-pack screen protector - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DGNGDFR. Case isn't too bulky and fits perfectly.

For those upgrading old iPhone to a 12 Mini - Otterbox Commuter (Black only) [amazon.com] is available for $20.49. Not as bulky as Defender, but excellent protection. Currently have a Commuter case on a 11 Pro for 6-months, and it's perfect for the accident prone. Need to safeguard it until next trade-in.

Anyone have idea how to enter MEID instead of IMEI during checkout? MEID is not 15 digits, so I can't get pass that page...

I had the same issue and the best one I found is using the first 14 DIGITS only of the MEID and entering those numbers to this calculator:
https://www.imei.info/calc

(Make sure you use the DEC MEID this is Numbers only... not alphanumeric)

This Calculator will then give tyou the valid 15th number you need to complete the IMEI conversion. I then plugged the 14 MEID and the 15th # from the calc on the TMO website and it Validated.

I did this for 3 Boost CDMA phones.

Still no unlimited option on simple choice 4gb plan.

Is there any word yet on whether the unlimited option will affect simple global free data roaming internationally?

No worries at all! Tmobile is valuing most of these old trade-ins @ $0.

You are Good!
Thanks!
One more question if anyone has the answer - The order summary page says I need to send in the phone within 30 days when the new phone ships. I think there is a printable label from the order status page.
Should I print the page and sent in the old phone now? Or will the new phone be shipped with some kind of package and label so it would be easier to pack and mail the old phone?

Just checked an old flip phone. It powers on and takes a charge, but just notice the bottom of the screen has a few lines/corrupt image. This is the lower 10% of the screen where the menu bar normally is. Anyone know if this will be a problem.

Thanks

I just chatted with a rep about the MEID. On the back of my phone there's the HEX MEID and DEC MEID. The Hex one wouldn't go through on the site. The Dec one would work but not all digits would fit. He said to use the Dec one

Someone in the forum said to use this: https://www.3023data.com/meidtoimei/ but I won't be going this route
YES Use the DEC MEID but only use the FIRST 14 Digits. Your website will give you the 15th magic number you need for it to work.

I have done this to 3 CMDA MEID ONLY Boost/Sprint Phones. the 14 plus that 15th number is what you need to enter on the TMO IMEI check. It will work now....

Lots of A32 orders are on back order. With "while supplies last" clause for the promotion, not sure how many will really be able to get the A32. Just something to keep in mind.

UPDATE: 4/12/21
- New info has been received about the free 5G phone upgrade. The promo isn't applicable for backorders. This means that if the phone is out of stock you can't get the promo, making this a sort of "while supplies last" type of deal.
EDIT 4/18/21: online looks like you can still order the phone even though it's backordered; just confirm your trade-in qualifies you for the promotional $282 credit and you should be good to go.

Yet another T-Mobile propaganda to put you in chain for 24 months.
Although the value of Galaxy A32 is $280, so you can pay it off early if u want to.
The iPhone 12 deal for $400 not a great deal IMO.
I appreciate and respect your opinion but you should take into consideration that they are giving you a brand new phone for a fraction of what it cost to build. I'm trading in a few $5 phones personally but do you really feel that it's unreasonable for them to offer such a great phone that's brand new and offers the latest 5G technology in exchange for almost nothing?

I personally feel that them asking you to retain your service in exchange is completely reasonable. Also consider that they absolutely do not "put you in chain for 24 months" [sic]. You can still cancel your service at any time. There's not even a cancellation fee; you just have to pay the balance of the phone, which is completely reasonable.

Please take into consideration what I've said here. Whether you agree or not is entirely up to you but I hope you'll see things from another perspective -- the perspective of appreciation for a company that literally just upgraded everyone to unlimited high speed data service and didn't even charge for it. If you'd prefer not to support such a company that's fine but smearing T-Mobile for taking the tiniest of efforts not to lose millions and millions of dollars by asking you to become or remain a customer is not helping anyone.
