To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

These pre-paid or virtual mobile operator fanatical evangelists turn up in every mobile phone service thread. For them, no one should buy a post paid service which is too expensive but get one of the cheapie deals from marketing branded services (that use underlying carrier infrastructure) with all kinds of trade-offs because "it works for them". It is fine if it works for them but like Jehova's Witnessesthey seem hell bent on convincing everybody that they should do the same assuming that everyone's usage is just like theirs. Best to ignore these idiots.
LOL. you are entertaining.
I cover 5 people for cellular and I have yet to find any post paid carrier to come close to what my total output is for prepaid. Google Voice on 3 numbers make it easy to switch if needed vs porting.
Metro has their 4 lines with phone included for $100. or 4 lines for $120. which includes unlimited, 15GB hotspot, Google 1 with 100GB storage and Amazon Prime. Includes taxes, fees so that looks to be a good deal. I have a line with them now and got the Samsung A51 5G for $49.99. Nice phone, speed is good for me at Their 4 lines for $100. includes 4 phones and since we are on unlocked phones, one could sell these for a hefty profit. No trade offs like you claim.

Cricket Wireless offers similar and I do like their 4 lines/$100. unlimited, which covers Mexico too in/out as I go down every year for a month or so.

Did you pay for the full price of the phone upfront at Costco? Or are they billing the cost to your T-mobile account over 24 months?

Just curious because I have Costco gift cards to use so I want to pay for the phone upfront.
It's billed through T-Mobile EIP. I had to pay tax up front, but since it was a direct delivery order, I was able to pay with Mastercard through Membership Wireless' system. So your Costco shop cards will likely not be accepted. But it doesn't hurt to try.

Thanks for the info. Those prices are 40 to 70% more expensive per line than my T-Mobile Magenta unlimited post-paid that I started last November. Which means if you believe you're getting a deal on your cell phone plan, I should feel great with T-Mobile post paid!

Thank you for substantiating my position with your personal experience. I can see you recognize how amazing it is for T-Mobile to be doing this.
T-Mo is here to do business and make money. We seek the best possible options to maximize what we can get out of it, and if lucky, execute it at the right time.

T-Mo is trying to get customers off of AT&T and VZ, especially with the "unlimited for all" program and bill credits / free lines to help reduce churn. Bottom line - they have opened their game for the other two to play their hand.

I was with T-Mo for over 12 years until 2017 and got out as no good phone upgrades was possible without a significant rate plan price change, then AT&T Prepaid for over a year, Free Sprint plan (16 months) until June 2020 and got out when it ended to go out and came back as a new customer for better plan / phones. Now, given how things worked out - I am good for the next two years and waiting to add one last free line when it shows up next time later this year, to make it 7 paid, 5 free. ✌️

does anyone know if this is available at "T-MOBILE AUTHORIZED RETAILER" It is showing in in stock only at that place so wondering if it will work.
I got mine done at Costco, which is an authorized retailer.

Just go there and ask if the promo will be applied. If they say yes, make sure that you see it on the documents you get from them.

For costco, did you have to mail in the trade in? Did you get the phone on the spot?

I have old phone that only has HEX ESN (8letter and number) and DEC ESN (11 number) not IMEI. I called 611 3 times and none of the reps seem to know how to go about this. Anyone else have another route I can go?
I have a old phone with ESN only, twitter tforce rep was able to process the trade in and use the ESN number as Serial Number. So they got a way to do it on their end.

If done right, T-Mobile postpaid is a better deal for multi-line plans than prepaid. But it seems that a lot of people aren't willing to put in the work to get those savings.

You will have limited Equipment Credit. You can do max 4-lines per promo, so 4 iPhones and 4 A32 5G. You will get EIP for some, and rest you will have to pay outright, do trade-in and get a negative installment and possibly negative bill for the next 24 months.

If all of your 11 lines do not have any EIP currently and are upgrade eligible, why not? You will need to find some other promo code for 3 lines.

Store can clear your trade in phone right away but on phone you will have to send it in. Also u will get hit with $20-25 support charge compared to online will be no charge.
Stores aren't encouraged to do this.
That's from my direct experience, a few friends and plenty of other's comments posted earlier.

They will not waive any fees, and more likely say they are out of stock.

Chat is way better.

Also, as long as your old phone turn on, not crack or wet, TM will take it.
For this promo, they don't investigate your phone as thorough as the other promo.

I think this free A32 promo will continue until end of the year, as they mentioned earlier, despite of last minute change of "while supplies available" term.

Why? Because it is better to lock as many subscribers to their 5g networks as they can for (at least) two years, than letting them "test" competitors' 5g.

It doesn't cost them much to buy A32 in bulk.

I have a Boost Kyocera with a hex ESN. They inputted it as a generic Kyocera, and it was verified.
