To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

How strict are stores when checking for screen damage? I have an old iphone 5 that has a small crack on the face but it's not on the actual screen area, doesn't go across the entire face, and doesn't affect function in any way.
Try trading it in and let us know.

Thought about trading my iPhone 11 Pro 512 GB for iPhone 12 but then it requires me to pay off the remaining $400 on my phone and then extra few hundreds for the iPhone 12. When you do the math there is no deal to trade in

umm. just realized there are various A32 versions...

this A32 5g is actually more of a watered down version of A32...
6.5" TFT 720x1600 vs 6.4" 90 hertz Amoled 1080 x 2400
64gb vs 128gb storage
48mp vs 64mp camera
7nm cpu vs 12nm cpu

is this phone actually worth the 24 month commitment?
It almost doesn't matter that there's a different version of the A32. The A52 and A72 have better specs. So does a Pixel 5 and an iPhone 12. I'm just making the point that knowing that there are phones out there with different/better specs, one of which might be part of the same model family or even have a similar model name isn't relevant at all to the question being asked. If we get to choose what we're offered or if existing customers are frequently offered free phones of various quality then maybe worrying about the specs at this level would be more pertinent. But existing customers are never offered free phones like this so that's why this deal is so popular.

So back to the core question of whether *this* particular free phone worth the 24 month commitment? (I'm repeating my sentiments from another reply.) For existing T-Mobile customers to whom this deal is offered to, who are ecstatic with their cell phone plans and aren't leaving T-Mobile any time soon, the answer is a clear "yes". We're trading ten year old flip phones we have in our drawers for new Galaxy A32 5G phones. Who wouldn't do that in our situation?? Anyone else not fortunate enough to have a great T-Mobile plan or who might leaving T-Mobile within two years or are thinking of joining just for the free phone, skip this deal.

Yes you can trade in the LG cheap for the "free" A32 assuming your dad also uses t-mobile. Keep in mind he would get 5G I dont recall the S7 being 5G capable
Sorry. He doesn't have plan anymore..I think it was previously tracfone... now he just uses a phone at home with wifi for YouTube .

i thought even if my s7 line had 5g capability , it would still be able to use LTE or 4g services. Is that not the case?

I'm looking at your screenshot, and because of the redaction, I can't tell - are there multiple promotions attached to the same phone number (is that what you're trying to show?) Here's my screenshot - 2 lines are paid off, but they still show under each phone number, so I can't tell for sure if they are accound level or not.
They are "called" a/c level but they still show as if they are "attached" to a specificline and that's because even though you allowed to start new RDCs on the same line, if you cancel THAT specific line before 24 months, all the RDCs attached to that line (including a/c level) will be stopped !!

Little chance they'll accept it. If you want to try it, bring your iPhone 5 into the store and see if they'll accept it as a trade-in. Maybe (not likely) you get lucky with an in-store rep who isn't thorough. If they accept it in store, you're good as once they accept it at that point, there's no other jeopardy for your trade-in. If they don't take it, you don't/haven't committed to going through with the iPhone 12 Mini purchase so nothing to lose but your time.

So, iPhone flippers/resellers,
what do you think makes more sense from the market value point of view?
trading-in iPhone-7 for 415 credit or trading-in iPhone-11 for 830 credit against a new iPhone12?
I have both but not sure which trade-in makes more sense...lol
I mean I can also do BOTH if you think both are kinda great deals !!!

I had a 7+ with broken screen, broken charging port, broken home button, it also rebooted every few days, it was on its last legs. I paid $110 to replace it all, then traded it in 20 min later. When I traded it in, the guy was pretty thorough and checked everything with a flashlight. Luckily he didnt see touch ID was broken.... On the flipside, after that, I said hey my wife has one too and we want to trade it in also, he didnt even look at that one and took it. So take that how you want to take it.

Agree with all three comparisons except a smaller nm chip is usually better, right? The 7nm chip should be more power efficient. I think this phone is designed for more power efficiency because I read 5G drains battery faster.
Yes this has a new CPU that supports 5g.. but everything else seems to be a watered down a32

i ordered one for my backup phone but received a SMS saying the value of my trade in is $0.... but on receipt it shows the "trade in all devices promotion".. anyone else have this issue?

So when they clear it, it's just a matter of mailing it in? no further inspection is needed?
Once they accept your phone trade-in in the store, you are good. That's it, no further jeopardy from other inspections.

Yes, the A32 5G has worse hardware specs than the non 5G A32 but I consider this a backup phone. Unless you are a basic user you won't want to use this as your main phone.

My main phone rear camera recently died. Wish I had a backup phone. I'm 3 receipts away from getting my $10 Amazon shoppers panel reward! The app doesn't let me use the selfie camera.

I'm probably going to stay with T-Mobile for a long time as no carrier has ever beat their military family plans.
