Yes EIP thru Costco. They gave me a form to submit online for the $30 Costco Cash Card.

Now am I the only one waiting for Costco to restock their warehouse, what gives??
Costco did not have the iPhone 12 model/color combination I wanted in their warehouse. After waiting 5 days I ended up ordering from T-mobile directly.

Seriously? If you add a new line to get a "free phone" that still makes it a "free phone" after bill credits. But you still have to pay for the line for 2 years. Honestly, I don't think this deal is for you. This deal is for adding an upgraded phone to existing lines. If you are willing to pay for and open a new line, much better offers are available for those opening up new lines. Or wait for another free line offer. Or wait for iP13 if apple is your thing. . .etc

I wouldn't personally settle for a free A32 if I were opening a new line. Would want free Galaxy S21 instead, maybe with minimal trade (not flip phone). . .and wouldn't settle for less than an iPhone 8 or older as trade for free iP12 either. . .

There is no new line requirement for the free phone. Why are you asking about adding a new line??

Well, if you really can't grasp it then go ahead add a new line then buy a phone for that line.

Do you actually have to power on the A32 phone to unlock it after 40 days? I have a Note 9 and plan to do the upgrade on my line but have no plans to downgrade to the A32 but would like to unlock the phone. Can I put another unused line's sim in it and turn it on and leave it on for 40 days?

No the phones IMEI needs to be activated on TmO network for 40 days they do check this as it shows on their system. Using the sim has no effect the actual phone has to be used the SIM can be even something else, I mean another line on thr same account the phone just has to be active for a min 40 days as per the unlock policy.

Perfectly put πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘
The real deal in this promo is "no new line needed" !!!
For a new line, you need something much better in returns like "830 back for iPhone 8" or a much better free Samsung phoneπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Has anyone had experience changing the device and IMEI after the order has been submitted?

I found another device I wish to trade in instead.
I do it all the time...
Once they receive the new device, they will send you the email and also update the system which will automatically reflect the new trade in value!

Does anyone know what's the best option to go with for getting a phone number to port in to T-Mobile? Most eBay listings for porting are numbers from T-Mobile mvnos.

Question for all. I initiated a trade in thru the website for an iphone 12 pro. When I go into my promotions / EIP. The initial trade in credit doesn't look like it will be applied to the EIP but the overall bill. The monthly credits will apply to the EIP. If I want the initial trade in credit to apply to the specific EIP plan, has anyone been successful in doing so by calling in?
