You can change the fps of the camera. Usually the highest resolution doesn't allow for full fps because of the amount of data needed to send. Drop the 4k resolution a tad and you'll unlock higher fps. All camera nvr systems are this way.
FYI - those new to security cameras, do take some time to do some due diligence before you jump in.

See the prior posts on Reolink, do not blindly trust the reviews you see in Amazon and Youtube as Reolink does a lot of work to tip the scales.

In general Reolink selling affordable cameras, made with more affordable components - and thus they perform less well in low light conditions. Also issues reported on Reolink meeting specs properly ( iFrame issues, cheating on low light conditions by not holding custom set parameters .. )

This kit includes:

NVR RLN8-410
Cameras x4 RLC-810A

Double check specs on RLC-810A .. iirc one of the RLC-8xx models did not have a standard rtsp stream
These guys run specials weekly, I don't see how this is any slicker than last weeks deal.

I'm not sure which one you mean, but if it's the deal I think you're talking about I don't think those cameras have Person / vehicle detection and there's a few other differences. i guess it depends what you're in the market for.

I recently purchased a few Reolink cameras. My assessment so far is that the 5MP cameras produce a better quality image than the 4K ones -- also, the 4K one I got is limited to 25 FPS, but the 5MP one is 30 FPS.

Edit: I'm directly comparing RLC-511 vs RLC-820A.

Hmm. I just installed some of the 5MP cameras on my house and don't even need to turn on the IR to see at night.

I just bought this last month and so far, video quality day or night is pretty good. Microphone easily picks up from about 20-30 feet. Person, vehicle motion detection is nowhere as good as from Ring but I'm not using this system to be alerted of car vs person. App access is always quick and high quality. I like not having to pay monthly fee and waiting what seems like eternity for video to load (looking at you Ring). I easily replaced the internal drive with a 6TB WD purple and planning to reuse the internal drive with an enclosure to further expand storage. Max 12TB for this system. I'm using a mix of the supplied cat5 cables and cat7 (weatherized). Haven't noticed any difference so far.

Make sure your Cat5 is Cat5e to allow power delivery
