The m12 line is compact to begin with, for most home uses you're not likely to need super compact power in a tight space. Imo the stubby size is probably more meaningful in automotive applications where things tend to get tight in awkward ways. Driving a screw into a stud in clear open drywall room...doesn't matter
Also, are the batteries compatible with both M12 and M18?
Check harbor freight they have some decent ones

They deal in drop shipping directly from the manufacturer for a lot of their items. If it's an item you need but can wait, and isn't more expensive than other competitors, I'd say it's worth risking, otherwise no. I didn't get charged until my items shipped.
Zoro has their prices inflated. It's the cheap deceiving tactic stores usually do to fool people. Stores raise the price then create a discount or promo.
I'll give you an example of regular MSRP that is found across all stores ACME/CPTools/Amazon/Home Depot etc.
$199 : HD's Dewalt blower [homedepot.com]
vs
$247 Zoro's Dewalt blower [zoro.com]
If you look more, you'll find others with worse price difference.
Out of the 4 items I ordered, the 2 more expensive items were more expensive than Amazon, but 20% off coupon I had made them cheaper, and the 10% cashback sweetened the deal.
