Do you guys recommend getting the DJI Care Refresh 2-Year Plan for this?
I think it's a good deal for $79 so IMO yes... assuming you intend to keep the drone for 2 years, although it also makes it's easier to sell.

That's a lot of whining for such a small pup. hug

Chances are that you are going to have to receive the package when it is delivered (and it will be!) and then return it. At that point you have other options to complain, such as dents in the box. You can even take the drone out and play with it, crash it, and return it claiming it was faulty... all the while proclaiming that you will never buy a DJI product, or shop from Costco, or ship via UPS. Endless fun! nod

why are you buying stuff online if you can't wait a few days?

Anybody anticipate deeper discount for purchase in store? My local warehouse said item # is marked as new incoming item - manager said could be weeks/could be months??? Anybody see one in store?
Also, tried the b&m Costco and got the same oos, maybe in the distant future response.

Cancelled and money refunded, I will spend my money elsewhere. I ordered headphones from Amazon on Saturday and they came this morning, everything I order from them or Best Buy has come when it said it will come over the years, even Sears was 100% reliable and on time over the years and that's saying a lot. What I have learned from this is when it comes to Costco, either buy the item if it is in the store or don't buy it at all.
This dude buys a drone under compulsion and panics when something doesn't update him by the minute. You're insufferable, wait a day it won't hurt. If it passes a reasonable time frame then of course cancel and refund.

Has anyone found this drone in their local Costco btw?

definitely i recommend the care refresh but i usually buy the 1-year because i *think* you can get another year later. by then i'm ready to sell my drone or i am comfortable with flying it and don't need the add'l year or the drone is "out of service" and less likely to crash due to infrequent use.

Received the Mini 2 via UPS this morning. The batteries are charging now and I am excited to fly this thing for the very first time (I am a complete noob).

Question, from watching some of the tutorial videos, I am seeing that DJI sells a propeller holder (different than the propeller guards). Do you guys recommend it? I see that DJI sells the official version on their website for $13 ($14 on Amazon), does this holder still fit with this bag? I ask because it seems like a tight fit already.

Also, Amazon sells a whole host of 3rd holders for under $10.

DJI Official Propeller Holder:
https://store.dji.com/product/mav...?vid=84981

3rd Party Holders:
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Mavic+...nb_sb_noss

The one I am considering for $5.99 shipped since it seems like it fits in the bag:
https://www.amazon.com/Propeller-...09&sr=8-23

Thank you in advance, Michael

I do see in the last photo on Costco.com that it has a holder in the shot, but I can confirm that it's not included in my box (others can chime in if they get one inside their bundle).

Did some more research and it seems there is no official 1st party DJI propeller holder. The one that is sold on the DJI store is actually made by CYNOVA–a company that seemingly makes a whole host of DJI aftermarket accessories. This also explains why the "official" holder simply states "Designed for DJI" and not "Made by DJI" (screenshot attached).

With that said, I think I will order the CYNOVA version compared to the silicon band ones, the reason being there are complaints that the silicone band may add too much tension to the motor/propeller itself. Fit shouldn't be an issue since the drone has a lot of space to move around in if you use the Costco bag, I have read online that most holders don't fit in the Fly More case though.

Hope this helps, Michael

Thanks.
1. Can you share the link which you feel is a good Propeller Holder and also will it fit inside the bag which comes with the Costco purchase?
2. Any suggestions for battery charger? Isn't it necessary n preferred than charging through the drone itself?
3. One last question, any idea if the official dji 3 battery charger will fit in the dji bag which comes with Costco purchase?

1. I bit the bullet and ordered the "official" DJI Propeller Holder from Walmart.com (sold by Adorama Camera). The reason I didn't order on Amazon was to save the $4 in comparsion, got free snail-mail shipping. https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/525909861

2. Today is day one of using this drone and I am currently just charging the battery via the drone itself (included USB-A to USB-C). The DJI branded two-way charging hub would be great, but it is close to $40 and I also only have two batteries.

3. I took out a ruler and did some rough measurements. The large pocket inside the Costco bag "should" fit the DJI branded (3-battery) two-way charging hub and the remote itself. And the outer rectangle pocket could fit your cables, extra propellers, and whatever knickknacks. However, I don't currently own the two-way charging hub so it would be great if someone else either confirm or debunk my theory.

Update, I found the bag on Amazon and reviewers claim the bag DOES fit both the remote & two-way charging hub (screencap attached).
