This book is great when the basic condition (lots of potential players) is around and there's no great power dynamics in effect. It doesn't work when there's a great power imbalance and doesn't address that. So it'll work great when you're negotiating, say, remodeling a kitchen; but if you're trying to negotiate with your employer (say you want a raise), the techniques only work if you're willing to quit if you don't succeed. There's a successor book that talks about it a little, but I found that also pretty unsatisfying.

agreed, haven't read the book but lots of negotiations come down to who has more leverage

Thanks for the deal. This has been on my list (due to recommendations from others).

This deal applies at Google Play Books as well: $1.99 (71% price drop since April 5)
https://play.google.com/store/boo...9fHCJZrcwC

Note that the book *is* Family Library eligible at Google Play meaning once you purchase it, anyone in your Google Family (if you have one), can read it.

Note: This book also has an accompanying workbook (for purchase not on sale).
