I've been waiting for the Q90t to go on sale and it seems like EVERY tv on the market has gone on sale except for that one.

I mean it's cheaper than last year's model at this size, so that's a thing. But the reviews I've seen show that it's largely the same TV with a few minor improvements. At least it isn't a downgrade though as the 2020 models were to the 2019 models.

Seems that the previous 2020 q60t was a pretty mediocre TV. Hard to imagine that the 2021 version is really much better.

I've seen the q90t go on sale, but only specific sizes. None of which excited me at the price point. I might settle for a Q70T, as the 65" is going on sale at Costco for $999 next week, with the whole protection plan stuff.

Does someone mind explaining to me why this TV is subpar and what I should be trying to get instead? Mind you any 4K tv I get will surely be an upgrade from what I currently have. I like how thin this model is but am not up to speed on what makes it subpar from a performance standpoint
