That said, pretty much all of the Kidcraft houses are built on the same basic blueprint, then they add on flower boxes, etc, I've built many of these for in-store displays as a contractor and they're very durable if assembled properly (3.5 hours start to finish!), but they are not really usable outdoors in the weather. The 2-piece roof is screwed together at the peak, but it is going to leak. The windows do not close, the door has no glass or plastic for windows.... That said, It's an amazing house for a playroom for $129.

There usually isn't a kit, they just put together lists of projects (usually sheds, treehouses, decks) that can be done with bulk items they have ready to go and they'll add a combo discount.
You have to get your own paint, but I've built sheds for friends...saved at least 40%-50% the cost of the same size at Home Depot. And it can be put together better (2x4s instead of 2x2s, premium paint, deck screws vs nails, custom ramp, etc.)

I'll build mine and make it nice and ready to quickly switch over to a shed when she's bored with it.
