I own this. Great price. It's sturdy and does the job. I use it mostly for toting gas cans to the gas station for refills so they're not in my SUV

Thx OP, been eyeing something like this. For $40 was worth a try.

Definitely wobbles so I recommend also buying a hitch clamp to remedy the issue

I own this also and agree with you. We have a Jeep Renegade with two big dogs and when we travel, we put cross country ski's and luggage in a Thule on top and snow shoes and dog food in a box in this thing on the back. This is a great deal (same as I got) if you have a hitch on the back of your vehicle. Just get it and one day it will come in handy, I promise.

There's a chance that the hitch carrier will bend, the hitch receiver will bend, and/or the frame of your car will bend. In the last scenario, it will cost you thousands to fix or its just not repairable. Either way, if someone rear ended you without the hitch, it could ruin your car as well.
