Pros:
+ Gets leftover dried cement, oil, dirt, etc... off easily
+ Strong - this thing chips away the paint on concrete slab when you get too close or leave it in the same spot for too long. i had to repaint my walkway and plan to repaint the driveway as a result just to get all the dried up things off.
Cons:
- Can sometimes feel under powered - I've spent a good 2 hrs pressure cleaning my 2 car driveway that was filled with dried up car oil and footprints everywhere. Took me more than 4 hours (closer to 6-8 hrs) to completely pressure clean the walkway that leads from the front of the house through the side of the house and finally to the back of the house (my lot is 6k sq.ft for reference). it would take me 2 days worth of time to pressure clean all of my concrete slab if i was going to. dont even get me started on trying to pressure clean a 25 year old wooden fence that has had no maintenace in 25 years and was black and ugly to look at instead of normal wood color. i replaced it with a dura fence 4 months ago and didnt bother to clean it before tearing it down either.
- Hose connector can be a real pain to connect and disconnect hose - it was such a pain to have to get a pair of pilers to tighten and loosen the hose connector so no water would leak out during use when the hose was connected to the pressure cleaner. After a few times i eventually got tired of it and just left a 25ft expandable hose (shrinks to 10ft) that has a shutoff valve at the end that connects to the pressure cleaner and tighten it up one last time and left it connected to the pressure cleaner for good. This way i get a longer hose that i just connect another hose to the other end and also have the ability to shutoff the water before starting or finishing without having to walk all the way back to the spigot.
- Wand Trigger doesnt always work right away - I've noticed that whenever i release and press the wand trigger the pressure cleaner locks up and i have to release trigger again wait a few seconds to press the trigger again and continue pressure cleaning.
- Zero cable management - the marketing picture is a lie. the pressure cleaner gets covered up by all the cables because you have no way to store or organize the cables so your only option is to reel in the power and wand cables as much as possible to place in the little holding area that has a hook next to the wand and the leftover lengths gets dragged around the floor or wrapped around the unit itself. its ugly to look at when not in use when it has no solid cable management.
Overall it'll get the job done but maybe get a higher PSI if you have tough stains that dont come off so easily or you'll spend a day or two pressure cleaning your house and multiple days for sure if you have to pressure clean your fence too.

I'm waiting for a deal on the Ryobi RY142300 which tested at 2100 PSI, or the Greenworks GPW2700 or GPW3000, which he didn't test, but seem to test close to rating.

Yup. Assuming it's a price match war, and we all benefit.
Purchase foam cannon separately? Any recommendations?

Costco will have it for $150 delivered (supposedly $50 off). Might start April 14. Does anyone have an opinion whether it's a better buy than the Sun Joe SPX3000? Thanks.

Buy both and return one you don't like!

It has less PSI than the one in the deal though.
