There are conflicting reviews on amazon. Amazon groups reviews for different products on the same page. If you have a problem with the drive after installation, make sure your system has the latest bios, the latest chipset drivers, and last, update the SSD firmware if there is one available. /Dylan

Made by Adata. Look around on how they are using sub-par controllers on their products now. I learned too late after purchasing one.
Yah I don't know how much weight you can give their reviews in the past. Switching controllers to lesser performing ones, charging the same price, and not disclosing? That's shady.
I'm surprised this isn't getting a lot more love. As per PC PARTPICKER, the lowest price it has ever been was 235.99 and it also has a $25 off coupon on top of it totaling $210.99 which is the lowest it's been so far.

Has DRAM, and as per linus tech tips ssd tier list, it is considered HIGH END which apparently sits next to the Samsung 970 pro on the list :

The last FP deal was this ssd from Adata (XPG) model at $219.99 https://slickdeals.net/e/14306822-adata-xpg-2tb-sx8200-pro-nvme-m-2-internal-ssd-219-99-with-free-sh... how did that get front page and this one didnt?

As per toms hardware also, the S50 LITE also beat out the SX8200 Pro by .20 seconds :

It could be two things, one, this does not show up on a search for 'ssd' in the slickdeals search engine, and two, probably because I posted it late last night. I'm going to change the title and put 2TB and SSD in front and see what happens.

EDIT/NOTE: Changed the title to move SSD and 2TB to front of title post, no change in slickdeals search engine, not being picked up. Such is life.

I made a post about search results in the other forum here on SD. Apparently even though I just posted this deal last night, it shows up on page 4 of results due to the default settings of the search algorithm.

Want to upgrade SSD in my Dell Inspiron 7706 laptop. I was originally going to purchase a "Sabrent Rocket Q 2TB NVMe 3200/2900MB/s" for $220 at Amazon (seems popular).. would I be better off getting this XPG instead?

Is it really not possible to sell a 2tb SSD drive for 1.5x or less than that compared to the price of the 1tb SSD drive? I know technology required to reach that point probably required a lot of R&D, but I'm not sure I really believe total cost doubles between 1tb and 2tb SSDs.

Especially in a SATA 2.5" drive.

Honestly this will be good enough for most but Adata has a swordfish line that works too. ADATA has been switching out controllers(?) and not differentiating the versions. Some are significantly slower but all are fast enough for common use. XPG is the gaming version

"Tier A (Ultra High-end)"

I'm in the market for a 2TB NVMe. This is convincing.

You are missing the fact that they are pretty shady because of changing components in their ssd without telling anyone. I Agree the price is great but can you trust them is the question
