I thought the good Maytags have 10 year warranty (on drivetrian only maybe?) I guess a 2 year warranty means these are low end units?

My understanding is that Maytags are now made by Whirlpool and don't have the same reliability anymore. As of like 10 years ago.

Unles you buy the MVWP575GW, 3.5 cu. ft. Commercial-Grade Residential Agitator Washer...all the other models has not been highly recommended! Maytag only has the 1 model I would buy, but it's the most expensve! Pretty bad IMO...a shame really!

It is drivetrain only for 10 years. Parts and labor have always been shorter for these appliances.
