This is HF's Black Friday sale, and I picked up 2 more of these in store (my store had plenty when I was there). Some of HF's coupon-less deals are not quite as great anymore, however, I own a couple sets of these bits and $10 seems like a steal to me for the quality. Even the case/bit organizer is really nice.

Actually, ToolDeals gave me rep on Saturday for this deal I posted. Many others did as well. You'll notice no arguments when a true slick deal is posted. If you post a mediocre deal you should expect comments and debate and you can't take it so personally and go after everybody. Such is the nature of mediocre deal posts -- they are debatable on both item and on price. And when you go after everybody in such a thread, even those making reasonable statements like many is this thread, you should expect people to say negative things to you. Unfortunately it creates a terrible feedback loop that benefits nobody.
I give a lot of Reps for good deals.... and often post alternate links in response that absolutely helps the site for affiliate commissions. You know, like your response post the other day that sold over 18,000 snips in a matter of hours that absolutely funds the coffers that keeps this site afloat.

Of course, the valor was then stolen, but you did not whine about it.... you were/are here to help others and support the site without becoming emotionally involved. And that is why we and others get along with helping each other when we can.... many of the real deals last hours or sometimes minutes and a waste of time posting here.

Meanwhile, I am not giving any Reps when someone begs for them, or whines in the first post that was voted off the island. And yea, when an OP, any OP loses it over any form of negativity that is opinion, constructive, alternative items, or whatever, you might wonder how people in the real world even deal with them and then might presume this is their life. And yea, I am guilty of yanking their chain from time to time because... well, they are just too easy. Smilie

Weird, I refreshed and now it's showing me the $9.99 price again.

As for your question, if it's priced lower than what it's normally selling for. then yes it's a deal. Whether someone likes the product or not is a side issue
The price often drops because the item was never worth the previous price. That said, the reality is that something is only a deal if you need it and it does what you need it for, or can sell it for a profit.

I know, I know, I could fill up an airplane hangar with deals, but that is typically where they would stay.... or on the shelf in the garage that you now need more shelves to hold more deals you will never use.

If you need drill bits, can sharpen bits and HF is right around the corner, this could be a deal for you.

Can attest this is absolutely true. That's why I began following you on here a while back. Quality is high so I don't have to sort out the waste.
