Nobody's asking you to lock up your $$$ bike with a cheap chain, you'd want an expensive lock for an expensive bike.

But this lock is a fine deterrent for preventing someone from walking off with a cheap bike, kid's bike, helmet/front wheel, lawnmower in open garage, grill out back - or, like we use one for, to prevent the neighborhood toddlers from opening the gate to our pool.
Click on 1, slight movement on 2, binding in 3, .... and voila. Folks, seems like MasterLock still hasn't learned their lesson - LPL
These will probably work fine for a quick lockup if you were just trying to keep someone from running off with your bike that doesn't have tools to cut a lock and you weren't leaving it unattended for more than a few minutes.

Seems to have very brittle steel "key" and easy to force open with a yank. Gonna pass.

I don't think I'd even do that with how easy it is to break with only your hands. Read the reviews and look at the pics. Same failure points.

I just got an integrated chain lock that can lock up the frame and rear wheel but not long enough for the front wheel. I can't use my usual loop cables that I use with my other usual bike locks because there isn't any shackle to connect it to.... This cheap combination cable could be a decent option for my front wheel and helmet. I would prefer a 10mm cable loop but I simply can't use it with the integrated chain lock. I am not going to ride with another heavy lock just to protect the front wheel so this 8mm combination cable may be the answer.

* I wouldn't use this 8mm combination cable lock as my main bike lock.

Wow, where are you riding that you need to lock the frame, the rear wheel, the front wheel and your helmet. I would tell you you are better off walking but how are you gonna lock your shoes to your feet.

Read the reviews. This lock is a joke. Spend a little more money and getting something more functional.

Might as well lock your bike with licorice vines.
