Great TV, great price, thumbs up.

Obligatory consumer information:

Currently this TV does not do 4K120 (instead it does 3840x1080 and then upscales) and Sony is being deliberate unclear whether it ever will. So if that specific feature is important to you, caution.
Costco specs say 4 x HDMI 2.1 ports. In reality it only has two, and one of them is also eARC. So if you want to connect eARC audio, and an XBOX, and a PS5; you'll be a port short.

Only regret I have is not spending the extra $400 to get this instead of the 75". Best TV I've ever owned all across the board

Also this price at Best buy, but highly recommend you just spend the $60 on a Costco membership for the warranty.

Got this tv a few months ago from GT for this price, free shipping and no tax. Less warranty tho. Great tv. No regrets

YES... tax and shipping are included in the GT price, and YES a return would definitely be more difficult. If purchasing and adding an extended protection plan I would not opt for the CPS Warranty purchased through GT because it will mirror the Sony 1 yr warranty (X900H) on this product which does not include in-home warranty service. I've never purchased a TV Warranty from Upsie, but I've had luck with their cell phone warranty. I would probably go that route since Upsie's 5 yr warranty on this TV would be $220, and includes in-home service.

I've never heard of GT. But it looks interesting. I'm guessing it's reputable since a few people mentioned it on this thread. Do I have to bid/offer that price or can I find it somewhere on their website?

Yes... reputable... they're the middleman to us for authorized retailers. Place an offer on their site, and they will accept... or counter. If you go this route, definitely start lower than the $1999 that has been accepted by others.

Great TV that I've enjoyed for several months but pissed there's still no VRR. I am able to get 4k/120 on a RTX 30 series card though. It also works on PS5 and XSX but has some issues like sound turning off when you power the TV back on in 4k/120 mode.

I love love love this TV. Possibly more than the 75" Vizio PQX I also bought. Interface is great and responsive, brightness is fine for living room lighting conditions, Bluetooth is nice for using a headset without a transmitter. I've used it for my XBSX, and don't notice any issues with 120fps or anything, but I'm not a big gamer.
Just really happy with the picture quality for the price.

I'm poor so there's that. That's a lot of $ for a tv. I guess if you use it more than a couple hours a day you could get some entertainment value for your dollar. I realize everyone isnt poor either, and congrats on that. Advance apology for people who are sensitive and buy expensive TVs. I can't second guess anyone's consumer or financial choices. I sure would hate to spend my whole stimulus on a tv or have a tv payment but I'm probably weird. Having money in the bank keeps me from getting financial assistance sometimes so I guess I should buy a $3000 tv and couple buckets of crack lol.
I have it. It's a good TV

I have a costco citi card and $169 rewards certificate, I think I may have to pull the trigger.
Don't use your Reward Certificate to pay for an item, have the cashier supervisor cash it otherwise you won't earn 2% (and credit card rewards) on the $169.

Remember gents and ladies, SONY have the best image processor based on their years of experience making TVs. Only Panasonic can come close to SONY.

Question: if we want to take advantage of 120 FPS games on X1X or PS5, is there a better option without going OLED?

I have the 75" and love it, wish I would have gotten the 85" though for how large my living room is.
