PSA: For those in states where you're considering enrolling in the utility program to save money on the thermostat, make sure you carefully read the terms and conditions on those programs. For my state and local utility (and I assume other states and utility companies) the pricing model changes, in some cases drastically, by introducing different levels of peak pricing and sometimes even direct control over your thermostat. Whether it can save you money in the long-term is possible, but just be sure you fully understand what the program entails before jumping in with both feet.

Basically entire country but FL what a surprise
I'll try to explain it to you like others. Florida has very cheap rates. This is part of the reason why. They don't do stupid promotions like this. I hear Duke in Florida is more expensive so maybe you can qualify for the promotion if you're on Duke.

Also Florida has had a discount in the ecobee for literally years. It's just nothing to write home about since you can often find it on sale for cheaper

No go for Delmarva Delaware. The Delmarva link is for Maryland.
I got it to work through Energize DE. My understanding being "DPL" as short for Delmarva Power and Light when signing up. HTH.

Dominion Energy in VA..need to have a heart pump or electric heat..

I have gas and price goes to $129 for the Nest in cart

      1. Customer must be the party that is responsible for the electric bill and either own the home or otherwise able to secure permission to complete measures. Customer's dwelling must have electric heating and cooling with an air source heat pump, ductless mini split heat pump, or geothermal heat pump

I have a weird house and need 2 thermostats. I got mine for $20 each a couple of years ago. The good thing is that the thermostat works fine with my hot-water radiator system that only has 2 wires. The other one is on a more conventional 4 wire system. I enjoy being able to check and adjust the thermostats from my phone. I couldn't tell you if it has saved any energy though.

One other thing to consider is that when you sign it gives them the control and the right to adjust your use and temp several times per month based on "peak" use times.. and this past summer they altered mine several times and the house got way too hot for my liking so I had to use more to cool it back down.. Just check it out for yourself and be warned
Thankfully I'm still using window A/C in my old-ass house...they can't control those!
I'd get sooo pissed if my A/C was turned down (by anyone other than myself) in the summer!
      Uh oh!...Story time!...
Almost as pissed as I got when the heat randomly turned itself on (& was blasting for days) during a heatwave, wouldn't shut off...& horror-movie-style, a relative took a knife & cut the thermostat off my wall.
I guess actually still do *need* a new thermostat😬😂

Lots of houses are like that. My family's home in Maine had 5 thermostats (no AC though), 5 zones for heating with oil heat. Oof.

Actually come to think of it. That's also the way my MA house was because that one did have AC. I had two thermostats for oil heat and two for AC lol.

Been a decade since I was there, totally forgot about that. Haha

I was able to finally register and get it through Entergy Louisiana, took several attempts though.
