I pay 8.8 cents per kwh. I do miss my days of paying 5 dollars a gallon for heating oil and 18 cents per kwh up in MA though.

I basically spent that $100 to have my HVAC company install a c-wire (I think it was $130 or so out the door with taxes and stuff). I felt it too risky to get one without it.
