I did too. I canceled the insignia one due to the smell and ordered this one instead.

Bought this back in February.

1. The racks are made of thin metal, or teflon. They bend and warp very easily.

2. If all racks are in unit, there is only 1" gap for food. (Not enough room to adequately cook food)

3. "Rotisserie " rack can fit a small 2 lb.Cornish game hen at best. Don't be fooled

4. It does NOT toast. The fan is too powerful and blows the bread everywhere.

I tried to keep it, but it's a pos. Please don't waste your money. I missed my return date for Best Buy. Now I m either:

giving it away or throwing it away.

We bought a gourmia from Walmart for 80$....waaaaaaaay better quality. Definitely recommend that brand

If it blows toast around is it really messy? Like if I cook a steak or sausage ... bacon? in it, does oil splatter everywhere?

I guess I need to elaborate. On certain oven like the breville, when you start certain modes like air frying, it goes into a preheat mode which you cannot skip. The timer won't start until the preheat is done.
Still not getting it laugh out loud

Isn't an Air Fryer just an overpowered convection oven, why use both terms then?
Probably to remind the user it has the ability to make juicy and moist food, while having the ability to fry perfect french fries and fried chicken. IMO, I wouldn't use an air fryer for a whole chicken or try to bake a brownie. It'll more than likely dry out or burn the food.

I do use mine for baking everyday for donuts and brownies and end up overcooking, lessen time or temp has helped. Toasting bread suggestion on broil for 2-3 mins works OK but still not regular toaster quality.

I clicked the Bella Pro brand link on BB and saw the same deal listed with an add to cart button, but no ship to home option.
