Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank abstractj

I know folks will vote down on this because they think it should be in the $600 range, but if you check recent prices for a decent resin shed, this is not a bad price delivered and made in the US.

Youtube video of the 6x5 install (this is the 7x7 and not the 6x5): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p103PjkMxGM I'm just giving folks idea on the install if you're curious.

Does this require a foundation or just a semi-level surface?

Costco has the 6x5 for $699 - Sam's is the better deal. BTW, 6x5 won't actually hold much.

Not a bad deal, looking for like an 8x8 but they're really expensive.

Yeah, if the foundation is uneven. The roof won't seal, or the doors won't shut properly. I have the 6x5 and that was a small hiccup for me.

6x5 would actually be better for me.

Does anyone have that available other than Costco (None near me.)

Was gonna pick up from Costco too but they never actually put any out. Just the display. Was like 200 more on their site before they pulled it.

Foundation of some sort is necessary for longevity and functionality.

Just put one of these up myself. Cost me about $350 to build a solid raised wooden foundation on deck blocks.

i was at a costco last week and inquired about one shed they had on display they told me they dont't have any stock yet. They said i could buy display for regular price or that they will be getting them in a few weeks. I guess I went a little early in the season for them..

wait until they sell it online with free shipping. these are heavy like hell. you may have to rent a moving truck and an extra hand to get it home.

i couldnt lift these in their store and noway i could get it home on my SUV by myself. eventually they sold out all their local inventory and the next month they had it on their site with free shipping. its worth every penny when you see these heavy boxes (2 boxes per shed) dropped infront of your porch without any extra fees.

Does anyone know how this compares to the rubbermaid 7x7 big max shed? Also, do they give instructions on how to make a foundation?

You want a foundation.

With material costs these days, cost me about $300 to build the foundation per specs (4 concrete deck pillars, 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood, 10 2x6x8, plus screws).

Just put it together last week (the sun ast 7x7 from Home Depot). Not so bad if you know what you are doing. I did it mostly by myself with some help from my wife to put the roof on. And yea, if your foundation is not level, your shed is going to be all misaligned.
