Let's get this out of the way -- no, the RAM and SSD are not user-upgradeable and the M1 Macs are not currently compatible with eGPUs.

Doesn't make it a bad deal. Just be aware.

Honestly 256GB and 16GB should be suitable for 90% of end users and tasks. Also who's really connecting a eGPU to a Mac Mini?

This deal is not dead.

Don't forget the extra 10% off if you are military/vet/government/teacher. $530 for a M1 Mini is a steal.

Edit: Extra 10% only seems to work for military/vet right now.

I guess you are right, no additional discount is coming up on these for government employees. The additional 10% only works with military and vets.

Thanks for this deal! My 16gig memory Mac mini just arrived in the mail today and I set it all up and good togo. 3% Apple Card cash back and 12-month 0% financing make the deal even better. The mini is brand new as far as I can tell. No way its used. Except for the retail vs. plain white packaging, there is no difference.
