This is a nice watch. I'd pair it with a less formal band. In my eyes the watch and the band it comes with don't quite mesh. Except for the SS. Nice deal!
Nice looking watch. However, for those who wants to start bragging that they now own luxury watch, they're not considered luxury like Patek, AP, Breitling, Omega, etc. Remember that you're still wearing a glorified Swatch. They're more in category with Tissot and Baume and Mercier. I'm just setting expectations for the folks who are just getting into luxury watch market. Enjoy.

I don't think anyone who is buying a Hamilton is going to act like they just bought a timepiece on the level of an AP or Rolex.

By your logic all watches are glorified timex weekenders. Dunce

No, there are many luxury brands, and Hamilton isn't one. Many folks think they're in a luxury market. That's my only point. There's no point to offend here.
Got this watch last summer and love it. The fact that you're getting a Valjoux 7750 for this price is alone worth it to get the watch. It's obviously in a lower category than more expensive watches and that's ok. Some of us enjoy the aspects of a mechanical watch like this without wanting to shell out thousands for a more expensive luxury watch.
I'm personally dying to get a Zenith El Primero, but I just can't justify spending $5,000 on a timepiece, even if I fully understand why it costs that much.

No but you're still getting a swiss made automatic chrono for under $700. The watch uses a modified (In-house by Hamilton) Valjoux 7750 movement which has been featured before in other Swiss brands 5-10x the price. I think if this is your price range and you want to own Swiss chrono movement this is a great option. There are cheaper respectable automatic chronographs if that is your only criteria.
I purchased the maroon version a few weeks ago for $650 from Ashford and have been incredibly impressed with the quality. The dial is really stunning under sunlight. It seems busy at first but is super easy to read and the etching depending on the light makes the dial look solid or etched. The jewelers clasp band is a nice feature as well (really saves the leather on your band)
Watch aficionado will be able to recognize one of the most iconic swiss movements ever made, normal people will just notice that is a very stunning looking watch, heck normal people probably couldn't even spot a luxury watch unless its a Rolex.

Too thick for my wrist? I like the H43516641 but worry the case height is too tall for me at 15mm. I am a small dude with 6.5-6.75" wrist, and currently my "biggest" watch is a Victorinox Fieldforce Classic Chrono 241900 at 42mm dia and 12mm case height. It fits fine on my wrist but I haven't any experience with any taller heights than this.
I love Hamilton watches. A lot of history behind the company. But indeed they are not AP, Rolex or Omega etc,.. They are very nice watches at somewhat affordable prices.

If you're looking for a similar watch but a smaller, thinner case, they have the Broadway models in a non-chrono version. Quartz movement is $309 and auto is $500. Not sure if there any promo codes https://www.ashford.com/catalogse...3Asearch=+

I'm hedging towards "yes, too tall..."
