I cancelled the subscription, it says "Your plan will expire on 05/13/2021" I can use it till that date and it won't auto-renew.

I think Apple+ and like Hulu, when you cancel the subscription, the access ends immediately?

In the email it said

Your discovery+ subscription has been cancelled. Your subscription will remain active through the end of your current subscription period. We won't bill you again.

you get hgtv and food network with discovery+. literally the only two cable channels watched in our household. no commercials and you can watch as many brother vs brother and chopped, or love it or list it and good eats as you want. i presume this is for new subs only, besides we dont need a fire stick. repped anyways.
