There are a few cases where this monitor is the way to go though, such as if it's also going to be used with a PS5/XSX, not gaming, or if you're not doing gaming that requires speed.

have one on my desk, bought at 290 from amazon on 2018. nice monitor but will there be slightly better monitor after 3 years?
Typically for shooters like cod you'd want a higher refresh rate. It all depends on what your graphics card can put out but usually the sweet spot is a 2k 144hz monitor. If you care more about non shooters or just want better graphics then this would be good at 4K

I really think that depends on your eyesight and what you use the monitor for. I have dual 32" curved 4k and keep the scaling at 100%. Ive often thought it would be nice if the screens weren't so big. I've never used a 27" but i do have an old Samsung 28" 4k that i know i can use at 100% scaling with no issues. I constantly have 10+ windows open and hop back and forth, being able to read the outside corners without leaning would be nice.
Anyway, for anyone going to 4k for work purposes, I think auto hot key with windows snap functions is a game changer!

Mine charges anything connected to it. Use it daily with a Pixelbook via USB-C
