I purchased the same deal from Groupon last year and never got my gift card. Everyone played dumb and said they knew nothing about it.

i literally just did this today, but from an older link. Their was a landing page with some sort of code to show the associate at CS desk (I guess). I saved this on my phone. However once I made an account (last week), paid my $45 and logged in, that page was changed to a page showing my membership # and I couldn't get the old page back. I went to pick up my membership card, and mentioned there should be a 45 GC on my account to the CS lady. She said if there is it will be applied when you check out. Well sure enough, I check out and there's no discount. I left just thinking maybe the promo had ended or something and not wanting to hassle with it. Any tips? is it too late now?

Also now that I'm logged into my Sam's account if I click that link in the OP I get just get the normal Sam's website.

I got this deal last year around the height of the pandemic when people were not going to stores. You have to go into a store to get your $45 credit. They wouldn't budge on giving me a credit on my online account. Not a great experience with them.

I would ask for a manager. I got my membership through the same discount and they had no problem giving me the gift card. This promotion goes on all the time for new memberships.

Went to Sam's club this morning. They said the code and info I printed out doesn't work but they had another set of code that works the same. So at the membership desk I paid 49 ish (with my discover card) and got my 45 gift card all within 5 mins.

Check the receipt of your first in store purchase (in line and not through the app). They applied my discount with no mention of it. I had to ask a CSR to show me and there it was. It does not show up in any other history, just the receipt.
