Greenworks 2000psi Pressure Washer $149.99 at Costco

Starting on April 14th, there will be an instant $50 off coupon for this basic electric pressure washer.
This should be more than sufficient to clean most outdoor items.
- Redwood fencing
- Concrete patio/ pathways (very, very slowly)
- PERFECT for washing your car (granted, you're gonna need to spend some $ at Amazon for some upgrades: foam cannon, good soap, microfiber towels/ wash mitts, quick disconnects: these use m22-14 fittings)

** Do NOT expect the pressure of a gas pressure washer! This does about 1.2gpm. Check out Obsessed garage on YouTube for his observations on GreenWorks pressure washers (for washing cars).

** Similar to this model from the Greenworks website: https://www.greenworkstools.com/2...-5107402vt

https://www.costco.com/greenworks...60435.html

EDIT May 10 - Added a YT vid. Apparently, this comes with an UBER Flex hose

For anyone wondering, this is a good pressure washer for washing cars. However, if washing cars is your only use for it, get the $79 1600 PSI version at Lowes. The PSI difference doesn't matter at all for washing cars and the $70 extra can go towards accessories.

I recommend you get a foam cannon and stubby gun. You can get one for around $30. The stubby gun makes the cannon much less unwieldy. Also make sure you purchase a 1.1 orifice with the cannon.

I also recommend QD for everything but that's not cheap($10 for each connection for good ones).

For soap, there's tons of options. CG watermelon foam or whatever it's called is fine but not great. It's cheap and readily available though. Adam's Car Shampoo is better but more expensive. Honestly though pretty much any of the well rated foaming shampoo's will work. If you're washing a ceramic coated car, get CarPro Reset or Gtechniq G-Wash.

Just know that a foam cannon doesn't actually do that much besides look cool. It'll do a bit but the best way to do it is use the foam as like a secondary lubricant to a normal 2 bucket wash. So like foam, wash mitt with 2 bucket while the foam is on, rinse. If you don't mind using a lot of water I'd recommend foam, let sit, rinse, foam, wash, rinse.

Of course this is all just the washing phase. You should also be doing decon, buffing, waxing, etc.

Very slowly like hours or few sessions over days. I'd recommend renting a gas powered one for a driveway. You don't really want to own a gas powered one unless you're pretty dedicated about maintaining one.

If it's about a 20' x 20' driveway… I'd say a good 30-60min (depending on the level of grime). Use the turbo nozzle.

1.2 is good enough but on the low end. It will work but something like 1.4-2(actual, not advertised) will work better. For casual foam washes, 1.2 is plenty. However, like I said, the $79 at greenworks is better if it's just for washes. Smaller, lighter, cheaper.

If you want an actual step up, look at the Active VE52. Very high GPM output. Only issue is it's a no name brand, who knows if they'll honor the warranty in a year. And it a $220.

This or the smaller one depending on use case. The Sun Joe is usable but it's not very good. Sun Joe in general is looked down on in more professional settings. They often inflate specs and their overall quality is lacking.

This or the Ryobi 1800 someone posted on the sun joe thread?

https://www.homedepot.com/p/310828626

My Ryobi literally arrived today but judging from one of the comments if I still need a foam cannon (just bought on Amazon) that makes the green works pressure washer overpriced if it will do the same job as the Ryobi. Would still like to hear of any advantages to owning green works over Ryobi other than the wheels... lol

I have an AR 383s 1800psi 1.3gpm and use it for cleaning my driveway every year and it works great. It did come with a turbo nozzle that i use for the black drop stains from the roof. I did also buy a round surface cleaner attachment that covers a large area for the rest of the non stained drive way. That surface cleaner attachment saves a lot of time.
