I just finished Yakuza 0 after purchasing it from the last time it was $4.99. It's fantastic, had a blast. Picking up Kiwami now to continue the story. It's next up in the chronological order of the world in the game: https://www.techradar.c

It's not necessary. I'm not anti-profit, just against artificial economics. They could easily make it XSX without double dipping. Ppl paid the tax for the hardware. They don't need to be taxed again silly fashion. That upgrade should be free for XSX users. BTW I don't own XSX. I definitely won't if there is a software tax for my current titles. Love what Microsoft did with all BC but this will set a precedent.
I am with u on boycotting Activision bad practices. I'm mainly against them with layoffs while CEO went from 30 million to 200 million while the company went 10 million to billions. Yes billions. Citing financial loss as reason to let employees go.

Yes activision is greedy but it seems people think capitalism = whenever a company does something mean to make money. You can engage in respectable and reasonable practices and simultaneously engage in capitalism. Likewise, companies in communist countries engage in unethical behavior to make more money all the time. The ONLY difference is who's making the money and who owns the cost production.
I am enjoying Y0 at the moment, but not sure I want to just play the same game three times. Honestly the most compelling thing I'm seeing about Yakuza Kiwami 2 at the moment is a chance to play Virtual On for the first time since the Saturn.

The 10$ upgrade fee is for both PS5 and Series X, not just xbox. However, no 10$ upgrade fee if you already own the digital deluxe edition. Looks great, but I agree about activision, there should be no fee.
