I am new in the market for a battery mower. I am going to pick among this, Ego LM2135SP, and Greenworks 80v deal from Costco. This will be my first time owning a mower. Based on my limited knowledge, I think these three are pretty close.
Do you mulch or bag? I believe ego is better for mulching and less space consuming. I believe ego is plastic and lighter.
Currently bagging. I bought the Ego last week with only one cut under my belt. I was a little surprised that the deck was plastic and not just the top cover. Granted the steel deck will rust over time (12+years) but I have to wonder how long the plastic deck will last.
I got the pushed version a couple of years ago on clearance and it still works great. Wished I had the self-propelled version, so I'll be looking for this one in about 5-6 months when they go on clearance.
Have the push version from a clearance deal two years ago (and edger/trimmer/blower), but my 2.5 Ah and two 2 Ah batteries and two chargers are not enough to get me through my yard if there's any hint of moisture on the ground, and I was on the brink of buying a $250 5 Ah or $350 6 Ah battery anyway after no sales in forever.
Thx OP.. not the best SD ever, but some just can't wait til season end.
I've owned the non-self-propelled version of this mower for three years. Aside from sharpening the blade, it has been a maintenance-free pleasure to use. With one 6 Ah battery, I can mow a 1/4 acre and still have two of the three battery charge lights illuminated. Of course, with the self-propelled feature, energy will be consumed more rapidly.
Aside from getting a bum battery included with the mower (which was replaced via mail), I've had no trouble with my mower at all. It is much lighter and quieter than a comparable gas mower, and the only odor you will encounter is that of freshly cut grass.
IMO, the price is reasonable, but not exceptional. If you need a new mower, though, I'd say go for it.

I believe this one comes with a 6Ah battery.which is the exact one I got last fall. One charge last for 4 cuts for me with near 2 hours of total run time. So I only need to charge it once in the middle of mowing season. I just bought an edger with another 2.5Ah battery for $157, so I would have a backup battery in addition to the edger.
Picked up the self propelled version for like $160 with charger and 2 batteries about 2 years ago. Could not be happier. Zero maintenance. I live in a townhouse currently and 9/10 times I can do my lawn with 1 battery, unless I let it get a little too high.

ive had this for 3 years. works great, BUT, at the time, it was the best out there. now, ego and ryobi have a dual blade version that gives a superior cut. since i only mulch, this mower replaced a toro super recycler, which was the best mulcher i have ever had. the kobalt does an ok job, but if you mulch, go for the ego or the ryobi
I just returned my Ego to Lowes because the thing wouldn't pick up the helicopter seeds and twigs. I really wanted it to work because I'm trying to replace all my gas powered tools. I'm looking around to replace the 56V Ego. I might try the 80V, but I'll try to wait for a better deal.
Greenworks actually makes the Kobalt stuff so the 80V stuff is very close in performance. You can actually use the batteries interchangeably between the two products if you're comfortable making some slight modifications to the battery housing. I bought this mower for the rents last Fall since there old Gas one was having some issues. I own last seasons Ego and can say they both do a very good job. I find the ego just a tad bit better but you can't really go wrong with either.

That was the previous model. Great price but the deal you linked is for a pushed model.
