Thanks. Jesus, this thing's now been available everywhere but the Microsoft online store, where I have like $60 in gift cards. Need to be patient and wait until it comes in stock there.

I had gotten this from Costco when it briefly went on sale, and as far as my experience went, it wasn't that great.
I do think it's a great design, very comfortable as well, however for some reason it still appears to be plagued with connection issues other headsets have had that pair directly to the xbox, as opposed to headsets that use a dongle. Not only that, it really requires alot of fine tuning to get the sound and mic quality right. It's mic can either be so sensitive your friends complain they can hears your controller clicks, or so soft they can't hear you.
Personally, I already had the Steelseries 7x and got these microsoft ones because I like the bluetooth connectivity feature, however I never got that far as to even try it. One night and heard so many complaints from friends I had to switch back to the Steelseries.

I do know the Steelseries 9 have the bluetooth connectivity, but they also rely on the direct connection to the xbox which people seem to complain about still, hence sticking with the 7x.
Just my 2ยข for people on the fence. YMMV.

I don't understand why people say this has connectivity issues. I happened to grab a pair from Newegg a couple of weeks ago just out of the blue and as soon as I got them they connected right up to my Xbox one without any problems. I've been using them almost every night hooked up to the Xbox and my phone so I can listen to music while I play Call of Duty and I've never had an issue with the mic or the speakers. They even have solid bass which is surprising to me... overall I would give them a solid four stars.

Same experience here. No issues. Got them day one. Way more bass than my previous corded razer ones
