1169 is not bad but the best price on this is 970 https://slickdeals.net/f/14587762-sony-65-class-x90ch-series-4k-uhd-led-lcd-tv?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1
Bought this TV back in September for $850, but it was through the Exchange. Great TV, but it's now a big paperweight after my 5-year-old hit it with something and cracked the screen.

Both of those TV's are more expensive than this. I don't think worth the price difference

Just FYI there are many ways to shop @ costco without a membership. One of the best is to have somebody else purchase a gift card for you. Another way is to simply have a friend buy it for you, online. You can also enter the store to browse products (and see this TV) as a prelude to buying a membership. I myself bought an expensive Montblanc pen for somebody who didn't have a membership.

Just the extra warranty is worth the price of a Costco membership, IMO. I also trust their delivery service with a screen of this size compared to my TV getting banged cross-country via UPS, FedEX or Amazon.

Alternately, if someone was close to a Sam's Club, they're offering $45 gift card with new sign ups, effectively making the Membership free. https://slickdeals.net/f/14955791-1-year-sam-s-club-membership-45-sam-s-club-gift-card-45-valid-for-new-members?src=SiteSearch

Nah, they probably don't go in series, but rather work in parallel...
I think the micro center deal is better for OLED... even though it is for refurb.
It says right here "Covered by Allstate after the manufacturer warranty expires". I would upload a picture but I don't know how.

The price does not include all state warranty, right?
Correct, I paid an extra $129.99 plus tax for it

Y'all should check your email. Costco sent me a 50 off 500 coupon that would work on this. Makes this pretty tempting.

What do you guys think about the price Costco has for the 65" model? $1169.99 seems pretty decent too, no?

I got it at $960,when they had it on sale at 2020.

I have basically the older version of this by like 3 years, and still working well. Paid I think over $2K though at the time.

The one thing I am not a fan of my model is the Android TV. I never use. For first year I had on a Roku and last couple on an Apple TV. I wish they would just make a TV with no tuner or other features except for great picture, high refresh rate and response for gaming and lots of HDMI and even a display port input would be nice.

This thread is a nightmare. Misinformation, unreal comparisons, asking for information one could easily find by looking up the TV, the same price adjustment questions, etc.

Hats off to those asking or giving decent advice and answers.

That being said, this is a really good deal. I'd expect maybe we'll get one more sale around memorial day, but they might be pushing out the last of the 2020s.

I purchased 2 weeks ago and I a very happy with the purchase. Very fast to startup, apps like HBO Max, Netflix, Prime, and Apple TV are super fast as well. No lag like I have seen on other TVs. Sound is pretty good as well without using my full sound system. Upscaling is very good from 2k to 4K.
