It does turbocharge my Moto phone. Because of the max 25w...it will probably not fast charge your phone and tablet at the same time, but on many 2 port extension cords the USBs are cheap throw ins with say 12 watts max. No problems with either of mine so far.
I need something like this when I can travel again.

Agreed, I have an old PowerAdd model and had to buy the straight plugged Anker cube specifically because the straight plug worked better at hotels.
