Received my "scuffed box" 77gx today. It's brand new, sealed with the four original shipping bands in tact. Even the box was flawless like I took it off the floor of a retail store. Just their way of reducing the MSRP to offload stock and get around authorized reseller rules.

While my order confirmation says scuffed box (not open box), the shipping confirmation and bill of lading all describe it as a regular 77gx retail tv. Nothing in writing saying open box, used, without manufacturers warranty.

As for delivery, mine came thru messengerforyou.com and you can track it from there. Just wish buydig would actually tell you that.

Quick google search shows that Amex gold will extend the manufacture warranty by 1 year.

When you buy an LG tv from authorized LG dealer (all listed on the toe are authorized LG dealers) your tv comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. When you purchase with your card above it adds a year so you are getting 2 years covered.

From what I understand the manufacture warranties do not cover burn in though because they view it as a "user error/user fault" for leaving it on same image for too long.

With that being said I think it's pretty rare for burn in to occur on these newer OLEDs. I was told by electronic store that LG has a feature you can turn on that refreshes the pixels ever so often to mitigate any chance of burn in. Please correct me if I am wrong. Haven't received my GX yet.

I got the SN11RG sound bar yesterday. It was shipped in the original retail box. I suppose it was "scuffed" but no more scuffed than any other box I'd get via FedEx. Upon opening, it appeared to me that it was definately brand new and never touched. Everything was sealed and pristine. Very satisfied with the transaction.

600 nits. Nice qleds are like 2k nits. So you'll want a darker room or a room you can darken. Doesn't mean a cave but not 4 windows that the sun shines directly on it.

Hey thank you, so these does get bright. I went Qled to Nanocell and I can see a major drop in brightness.
Do you know where I can find this information regarding TV peak Brightness?

Just to update you guys, I just received my TV today 77GX and it's super new with warranty etc, even the box is almost flawless. I'm so happy to grab this deal. Just finished setting it up in the wall with the included mount and turn on gallery app. So amazing 👏

Just got my GX...as other said, it appears to be brand spanking new. Box is pristine, all 4 shipping bands still intact. Tape looks brand new, never opened or re-taped. This thing is going up on the wall tomorrow and the CX is going back to Costco. What a steal, thanks OP!!
