I've had one since last year.. rock solid for the price.. just get better j hooks off amazon, and some horse stall matts underneath. I'll never squat 800lbs, so it was perfect for the price.

Seems like a good deal if the cage is stable.

What's considered stable/wobbly?

Youll know, its like buying metal shelving, some is awesome and some is so crappy and such a pain in the butt youll regret it everyday you even glance at it. Lol

Personally I would recommend getting one that can be bolted to the floor. I bought a power rack last year and put horse stall mats under it and mounted it to the ground. Seems a lot safer than worrying about it tipping over.

I bought this about a year ago from Walmart and i use it about 3-4x a week. It's a good cage for the price and I 100% recommend getting the cable back attachment for it but I have 2 complaints about it: I have mine on 3/4 gym mats and anytime I rack back anything over 200lb it wobbles a good amount, bolting down is not a option because I got new floors so it is what it is. The 2nd which is a big one, is that one of the safety crossbars doesn't align with the bottom 5 holes. I've reached out to progear twice in 6 months and they have not got back to me yet, I've had to build around the crossbar being put in and don't take it out anymore.

Depends on the floor underneath, are you on the 2nd floor? and if it can handle x amount of weight, depending if it's wood/concrete etc. I'd say it's not a problem if you aren't doing a lot of weight, and not dropping weights on the ground etc.

I also have this. Think I got it for $280 on a previous walmart deal.

Incredible for the money. Very sturdy. Its in my basement and I don't anticipate ever replacing it. I also put horse stall mats underneath

Be careful ordering if you use PayPal checkout. It dropped the promo code during the back and forth--if I hadn't been paying attention I would have paid about $50 more.

People squat 500+ pounds on the "racks" that are just two separate pieces placed on the ground.

You'll be fine....
