Wasn't this $19.99 before?
For those wondering about strictly stacking over this same plan (at least my experience with AT&T)... You can stack this deal as an existing Tracfone line (tl;dr - over the exact same plan / carrier only) ASSUMING THE FOLLOWING:

You're on this exact plan already
You buy the same carrier compatibility you're already on

Meaning if you already have a line that was activated with the 365 days / 1200 txt / 1200 min / 3gb plan, you can stack these sims to add another year plus add additional 1200 / 1200 / 3gb to your allotment. I had a line with about 18 months left and ~2000 texts and minutes and 5.23gb data left and was able to extend by 2 more years and now have ~4400 texts and mins and 11.23gb data allotted until expiration in Oct. 2024.

Pretty sure if you attempt over a different plan, it won't stack, you will forfeit what you already have, and be moved to this plan, so I wouldn't try. It's been mostly covered in previous posts for this deal, and how to stack was in the wiki. For me with AT&T, it was easy as logging in, clicking on the activate button at the top menu, selecting I Am Bringing My Own Smartphone, entering in the NEW sim card number (the one you buy from this deal) under I Have a Tracfone SIM Card, continue, and select your current number under the drop-down. Once you're finished, follow the instructions (once service drops out of your current phone, turn it off and swap in the new SIM card, turn back on, and test). At this point I waited until the account portal actually reflected the extended service date and airtime allotment (min, txt, and data - which in my case, even last time last year, it will get activated but not quite add the additional airtime and data for a few additional minutes to an hour). Only then did I proceed to stack the next SIM out of an abundance of caution.

I think VZW had different instructions. Go search for the older Tracfone threads, and those instructions should either be in the wiki or pinned somewhere.
I tried to return before. They just refunded and cancelled the SIMS number they sent you.

True story- we took our adult kids to Yellowstone 5 yrs ago. Both kids had iphones- no service. I had a tracfone- no service. Dh had a tracfone and had service. The anger those kids exhibited each time my husbands phone dinged with an incoming text!!!!! It didn't work the whole time we were in the park but did work intermittently while the rest of us had 0 service.
why didnt your tf work and your hubby's did?

Thanks. I called TF. The first rep was clueless and transferred me to a second person. She asked a bunch of questions, my info, the code I used, and the phone # of the person I got the code from. Seemed hopeful but no luck! Still no points after 3 days. The 8,000 points would've helped to keep the service for a year to unlock the phone.
I wonder if they fixed the issue. Hesitant to try again.
I lost thousands of points due to their system issue and my calls and tickets have done nothing to get them back.

BUT.... it seems you do get your referral points if you use the Tracfone mobile app instead of a web browser when entering the referral code.

There's a reddit thread with people posting their referral codes. Be sure to get a recent referral code (dated today if you can) and one that will get you the full 8000 points.

You sure can. The only problem that you might encounter is that some of these SIMs arrive without the pre-loaded airtime. You can easily return for refund in such cases. Ebay rules allow the buyer 30 days to start the return process, so know that you will be taking a risk by activating outside of the return window.

I tried to stack the SIM onto my existing Verizon compatible BYOP unlocked phone - and unlike the 6 previous times I have done this exact thing with these cards on two different phones, this time it failed.

I then spoke with 2 chat reps, TF called me twice, and I was escalated up to a "manager" twice - no one could get me the minutes or exp date...

I gave up after 2 hours and asked ebay for a refund...

Now I am left trying to figure out how to get my exp date extended - I have lots of minutes - I will probably just buy 365 day extension....
The best way to fix this kind of Verizon SIM issue is by sending email to *eBay* TF seller, including the SIM number in the email.

My guess is, tracfone offers service on att, Verizon, tmobile. So they might be on different network and not aware of it. Other issue could be bands in phone. Maybe they didn't have those bands.

I wonder if that means tracfone will be exclusively Verizon network.
edit: Yes, according to an article I just read, it will happen eventually. And this includes Net 10, Walmart wireless, Sraighttalk, etc.
Link?

Edit: this is close:

"The acquisition of Tracfone … will provide more U.S. consumers seeking value wireless
plans with improved experiences and enhanced services, including fixed
wireless residential broadband solutions, 5G access and expanded international
calling and roaming options."

Sounds like you gotta use their network before too long.

Who knows if - or when - this deal will get approved. Other providers will surely attempt to slow it down (or block it) since it would give Verizon a majority share of the market. Not good for consumers to take away a low cost option. Hopefully it takes a while.

I assume you get a phone number with the SIM.
Can you port a number over to the SIM later?
I want to port my home number to the SIM, and then port over to Google Voice.

Yes, you can directly port over a number with the SIM. You do not necessarily have to get a new number from TracFone first.
