Do note that the 28.7 inch sitting height is quite tall for most people unless you have a long torso. I'm 5'8 and my ideal desk height is around 24.5" for the best ergonomics. A few inches off doesn't sound like much, but its a huge deal for your wrists when typing or using the mouse.

That could be fixed by adding a keyboard tray, either screw on or clamp on ones. That should lower it by 3-4 inches.

I bought a 3-stage desk that goes down to 24" for $300; decent keyboard trays cost anywhere between $15 for a barebones one to $100 for a decently adjustable one. I think money is ultimately better spent on a desk that fits you well, than a cheaper desk that require additional accessories. I've tried the taller desk + keyboard tray solution and its a bit clanky and limits your peripheral options (trackballs are not fun to use with low clearance).

To each their own though.

Desk that goes down to 24" for $300 seems like a great deal; many brands would ask for much more.

It was a great deal for sure, but its why we're on slickdeals! Discounts for 3-stage desks are pretty sparse, but they do pop up. This $200 deal is not very good IMO; only benefit is probably the local returns at BB if needed or use of rewards.
