Due to the current chip shortage, all signs show that prices of every piece of computer hardware will be going up in the near future. There's a very good chance you'll be waiting until the end of the year for prices to go down.

Gotta love how they made it EXACTLY $1/TB too much to see if $16/TB would sell as much as $15/TB. Could have been an even $120 instead of an otherwise random $128.

Guys, chia has eaten almost all stock of hard drive (SSD and HDD alike) in China, tripling the price. This has already affected Amazon Japan, and I would expect the impact to arrive in the US quickly. Grabbed a Seagate 8T before seeing this deal.

Reviews seem to confirm that these are WD Red 80EFAX drives, which without the external enclosure, go for roughly 180. seems like a straight steal.
