THE UGLY
The fine print says that once you meet requirements, the mastercard takes up to EIGHT weeks to be sent and they send it as an activation code to your email address in your yahoo mobile profile. So I assume that means you can't cancel for 5 months? I'm not sure and couldn't confirm this.
Yahoo has a history of data breaches. Can't say it has changed after being acquired by Verizon.

I also don't want to buy a number from ebay.
I thought people said all you had to do was have the owner unlock the number for porting and then the new carrier only ask the number and a password, but articles say the new carrier will ask for name and address for the old number...

However - So maybe worse than Visible on (not) getting rebate when they screw up. I am 1 for 2 with Visible rebates. I think that I will pass.
