FYI, New QuickJack models are coming with three inches more lift and three lift heights instead of two. They may be available in the summer. No commitment from the company on a date or prices.

Measure the distance between the jacking points on your car before purchasing. Many new cars have longer wheelbases and corresponding further distances between the jacking points. This includes cars you might not think of like the current Honda Civic/Insight. They have EXT models for these and even an XLT model for cars with extremely long wheelbases.

I haven't seen Costco offer the longer models.

If your car is under the limit of 5000 lbs for the 5000 models, watch the 5000 series lift 15,000 lbs: (a special hydraulic unit is used in the video).

You can usually find the weight of your car by googling for "<year> <brand> <model> weight", example "2020 Honda Insight weight".

I bought one of these last year and I love it. FYI Pro tip for storage - I leave them in a way that I drive over them and they're out of sight out of mind.

Not the best price I've seen. Home Depot had the same thing March 30th for $1425.00.
I'll wait for that deal again.

Wow I did not know about that model. Did some digging and it was supposed to come out last year... Guess the pandemic screwed up those plans.

That was an awesome deal, looked like it was a one day deal, hopefully they run it again! It also looks like HD had this for $1,399 in 2020, possibly black friday deal, which was even better.

I do the same with them on a tarp (and fold over the extra to protect them a little - they still get dirty).

I also used INDUSTRIAL VELCRO and placed 4 1" metal ball rollers to each (about 8" from the ends). I added hot glue to the metal ball roller bottoms as the adhesive was not sitting on enough surface. This filled in any dips under the roller and made the adhesive contact a smooth flat surface.

They slide around very well, and get out of the way when the jack lifts.
The jacks will still get scuffed underneath as the final adjustments to align with the pinch welds are on concrete and no linger on the rollers, but this makes them easy to move while 100% on the ground.

BEWARE:
I always try to rock my vehicle to ensure stability before getting underneath.
However, one instance where we used this on a driveway that was not 100% flat...convex (humped).
The vehicle was rocking front and back while doing work. Had to use a hydraulic jack to stabilize front end under engine to ensure more safety.
Lastly, while this is 100% safe IMO vertically centered, it does have a fail point horizontally.
Not that I can foresee any instance (when used properly on a flat surface) of the joints failing due to horizontal movement; just an observation. So be sure to place this on a completely FLAT surface before use.
