"According to California Penal Code Section 17235, all folding knives are legal in the state and may be concealed as long as they are in the folded position. There is also no restriction on the blade length of a folding knife." How easy is to derail conversation and from maybe a SD deal we got other discussion instead.

False information.
California has no legal limit on length. You can carry a folding sword if you so wish. Look up the cold steel Espada. Totally legal.

This isn't spring assisted, (which is legal, but gets looks,) or automatic/ switchblade,(,which are legal under 2 inches,) or a dirk or dagger, assuming you don't carry it in the open position in your pocket like a psychopath. Just don't carry concealed. Don't go around flashing it. Don't go into federal buildings with it. Aka use common sense.

I'm not a lawyer, but I have studied the hell out of the knife laws in California, which are surprisingly lenient, and Los Angeles, which are a little backwards but still pretty clear. I have over 4k in knives, have had many interactions with police, and have even shown them off at their request. No issues at all.

Just clip it to your pocket using the pocket clip. The issue with it being concealed is now solved.

I was gifted this knife for Christmas last year, it's a basic pocket knife that I carry with me for everyday use. After 4 months, the blade still feels sturdy and is still sharp. I wouldn't use it as a primary knife for backpacking/camping/hunting, but it's good enough for when you find yourself needing something sharp. Plus, if you lose it, you're not out much money like you would with a quality knife like a Benchmade. Overall, it's a good knife for the price. Repped

It's a pocket knife, where else would it be carried? It has a pocket clip it is literally designed to go in your front right pocket next to your dominant hand. Or if you're a lefty, in the other hand with the pocket clip swapped.

I used to own a knife very similar, and the problem with these type of knives is that the screws get loose after a while. You could fasten them when it gets loose (duration depends on usage I suppose) but it was a nuance just fyi.

More people are killed from knives every year than rifles so I would imagine there would be a few laws pertaining to them although not much.

Knife is horrible chinese blade rebrand. They sell them at autozone for 12$ screws get loose and the blade metal is soft and dulls fast. Very difficult to sharpen.
