Direct Tools Factory Outlet has the Ridgid shop blower / leaf blower for $49 shipping is $7 via fedex. $56 out the door!

This is the factory blemish model, so it is new and does qualify for LSA. I even called Ridgid to confirm.

Compare this to the Special Buy at Home Depot for $79 makes this an awesome price!

It's new... just factory blemished... so it qualifies for LSA.

But yes, no battery... I love the blower though. Works excellent for debris in garages and such. Not designed for heavy leaves though.
I love this blower. Works great for garage, driveway, and deck.

Lawn, not so good for leaves.
Why would you expect an item that sells for $80 to come with a $50 battery? And it is new as I said in the original post.

Paid 70-ish bare tool a few months ago. This price is a no brainer. It's not a leaf blower, so keep that in mind. I use it to blow debris out of my garage and to clear the driveway of stuff that would eventually be tracked or blown in.

Is a leaf blower more powerful then this?

TU! This is a mid-size, mid-power blower. Perfect for blowing off porches, decks, driveways, garages, etc. Same price as the mini-blower was going for a few weeks ago -- glad I passed on that one. I actually went to the DT store last month and compared the two, and this one is far more substantial. Almost bought it for $80 then but glad I held off. Nice find, OP.

I have the newer version of this and I believe it is superior and on sale at Home Depot for $49.97 right now.

The new version is:

RIDGID 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless Compact Jobsite Blower with Inflator/Deflator Nozzle

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../314241140
SKU# 314241140

New version is higher MPH but lower CFM. Either one is nice and Direct Tools Factory Blemished is just like new with a blemished sticker on the box. No problems registering Factory Blemished from DT with Ridgid LSA.

Why do you think it's superior?

The one you linked is rated at 110 cfm. The one listed here is rated at 280 cfm. This isn't made to push leaves in the backyard, but still, for the same price I'd go for the 280 cfm unit.

Not entirely true. The one you reference is not a replacement. They are different blowers with different purposes. I like the one you reference. I have it and use it all the time. I love it's much smaller size and does a great job for me. I also have a leaf blower for larger tasks. To me, the one in this thread isn't strong enough to do leaves and is larger than I want for my smaller jobs and to take camping. I prefer to have two blowers ideal for my uses than to have this one which is a jack-of-all-trades type of blower. With that said, this blower at this price seems like a solid deal.
