Daily Steals looks shady. Most likely this is a Verizon unlocked phone just like others on sale at this time. My problem with that version is that it has eSim disabled. If this was a Google vesrion I would have bought it.
Nice find OP. This phone also has bands 66/71 which are important for T-Mo. I still often use my first gen Pixel XL (got Android 10 months ago) and it's been great with no issues. I've seen them new for $100-$130. and it's still a solid phone today with a killer camera, 4k video, excellent build quality, outstanding Amoled screen with gorilla glass 4, 534ppi, water repellent coating, Snapdragon 821.

It's a great phone, and don't forget full size photo backup for life.
Mine was getting really bad with thermal throttling affecting speed, which also (with an older battery) made the battery life horrible. Also was affected by a bad phone call speaker (I think there was a class action lawsuit).
Not sure I'd go for this deal or specifically seller, and I've heard not the best reports of the 3 having hw issues. Great setup if you get a good unit, but I personally have liked the android updates, such as more specific permissions controls and google home power button shortcuts, so I'd lean toward a 4a or sale on a 4a5G (i.e. Google Fi does them yearly; not currently active)

I got the Pixel 3 deal from eBay last week for my wife. The notification once updated was unlimited Google Photos backup until February 2022 on this phone. Which is only about 7 months longer than any other Android phone which loses unlimited "high quality" photo uploads in June. I am so confused about what is grandfathered into unlimited storage and what is not.

I think you should be able to find the backup timelines on Google. For the "unlimited forever" that was only for the original pixel that the other SDer referenced. I could also see Google saying that's only for photos "taken with the phone" and not any photos "backed up through the phone". All pixels still get the compressed "high quality backup" for free. While it's not perfect, I've seen some compares and been very happy with it for photos and 1080p video. 4k video it's worth keeping original IMHO
My wife is still using her's from when it first launched. Solid phone all around besides the battery life. Don't expect it to last all day if you are even a moderate user. She loves the small form factor and light weight though, would be hard to find another phone with similar size/weight/performance for her next phone.

Daily Steals has been around for a while and I've always had good luck with them when I have purchased a product from them that was new. I doubt that I'd ever go for a refurb, but as far as the company itself, they deliver what they promise in my experience.
The apps keep getting resource hungrier, so I kinda don't see the point in buying a phone this old. Within a year apps will get too slow. My opinion based on my needs. e.g. running teams would be so slow on this phone.
