Ships May 12th. Seems like a decent deal otherwise.

Yeah, not terrible considering it has a graphics card.

It's odd that they use a 4600G as the CPU though, and it appears this particular model always comes with a discrete GPU. Why waste the 4600G and not just use a 3600?

If I were to buy this, I would do this:

Wait for and buy a 3600 when it hits $200 again.
Swap it with this CPU and sell the 4600G on eBay for $310 (there are none for sale right now, but one sold for $300+shipping with BuyItNow a week and a half ago)

Get about $80 to $90 (after taxes/fees, etc) off and slightly better performance.

The main differences between the processors:
The 3600 is a chiplet design, has 32MB L3 cache, and no integrated graphics
The 4600G is a monolithic die, has 8GB L3 cache, and integrated Vega graphics

Both are 7NM Zen 2 architecture, 6 cores, and 12 threads with similar to identical frequency and TDP.

The big difference is the graphics, but someone with a dedicated GPU in their system (which this system comes with) doesn't need graphics on the CPU. The biggest noticeable difference in this system would be performance, while the monolithic die in the 4600G reduces a little bit of latency compared to the 3600, the 4X L3 cache on the 3600 would more than make up for it.
