They don't work on all stains. The package says it won't work on grease, blood, or ink. But it works on "fresh food and drink stains, including ketchup, BBQ sauce, grape juice, tomato juice, coffee, soda, chocolate syrup, tea or wine."

These are great if you find yourself eating in the car a lot like I do. Saved me many times. 3 pack is a lot unless it's for multiple people. They do work great for simple food stains.
