I ordered these last month. Doesn't appear to be refurbished. Didn't see any signs of wear that would indicate that. They were wrapped in plastic and in a plastic case consistent with what I'd expect a product to be packed at a factory. They just come in a very smell case and they're single piece stamped out metal so they're very cheap to produce. The product is designed to scrap your tongue though it's not a complicated device.

It worked and helped me scrape all the long papillae that developed while I was in the hospital. It was miserable like I had dog hair caught in the back of my mouth for weeks.
