You probably need to be registered to to receive exclusive promotions and member benefits from Costco via email.
- press on the "Sign in / Register" link on the homepage.
- once logged in to "My Account" navigate to "My Preferences"
- check the box that reads: "I want to receive exclusive promotions and member benefits from Costco via email." and save preferences.
Not sure if this will work but I am trying it since I was not registered for their emails and didn't get the code yet.
Edit: Might be true for some, but I was enrolled in this already and I didn't get either of the promotions.

Costco Site now has this banner message:

Actually got 4 codes, apparently if you have 2 people on your account, you can get both 50 off 500 and 100 off 500 for each person. The codes are tied to the Costco membership account, and they are exclusive to it. Will be using all. Thanks OP!
