Searching online shows at one point Walmart had this on clearance for $166.94 - not sure when that was.

It's like someone decided to make a tufted (p)leather sofa, realized it was too much work, and put nipples on it instead.

Vegan Leather is just the new word that is selling now for cheap fake leather (Vinyl, etc...)

Yes. Bonded leather got such a bad reputation they are trying a new term. It's still the same thing.

Not exactly true. Bonded leather is still an animal product. It's made from leather scraps (not large enough to cover furniture) processed with a 'binder' such as PU and must contain (technically by law) at least 60% leather to be called bonded leather.

Vegan leather, if you believe it, should contain 0% animal product and hence 0% leather.

in other words it is made out of some type of synthethic nylon like material designed to resemble leather which i have zero problem with if it is durable and feels nice enough
