Yes, could you please be a little more specific? What issues? Do you have a link to the articles about the issues perhaps? Thanks in advance.
Edit: I see some of the Amazon reviews talking about some troubles with the ON/OFF switch, the color changing switch (green button), and the blade not connecting securely to allow the lighting affects. Perhaps these are the issues...
I'm not spending $200 for a poorly built saber. It's a shame because it looks like it would be pretty cool.

To put the blade or crystal in correctly, I would have to push down and twist to lock the components into the hilt. Be careful not to force because the blade and crystal has two different sized notches to make it slide in only one way. That makes sure that the electrical contacts are made. If not, you'll get that "bizz" sound for a malfunctioned hilt. Pretty cool feature.
- As mentioned i am pretty sure it was not in the instructions (that are primarily picture only) that i had to inside insert and then twist the blade or crystal to use it correctly. I had a ton of issues having the blade work at all until i realized there were grooves at the bottom of the insertion hole that looked like it locked the blade in place after inserting. Must be a new thing since removable hilts weren't on my mace windu (replicas) or luke (hasbro) lightsaber.
- Mine definitely is a bit touchy. It will do saber clashing when i swing it with decent force every so often. Everything else works as intended though wiedling this two handed is difficult since there's no place to put both hands on the grip. One handed sith style all the way.
Otherwise, its a great piece of kotor memorabilia.
Example I have an older Hasbro Force FX lightsaber. Its has a nice polished finish with possibly clearcoat. I finally bought another to complete the set. The new one has a sanded metal feel. Does not feel well finished at all.
I bought a Revan lightsaber and its imo even cheaper feeling. Very light and hollow feeling.
