Buy the converters and just don't overtax the usage...

Didn't know they made such a thing. Thanks!

At what point does it make more sense to use a core bit? 1 inch seems like a lot of material to hog out.

i use core bits when running larger conduit/conlon etc. 3-6" or on HVAC copper runs but i would never use a up converter on something requiring so much torque on a wide diameter core bit.

I used 1" on outdoor AC condenser power wire runs and just sealed around it.

I can envision commercial concrete/steel construction requiring 3/4" or 1" rebar in slab as a use for this.
